NeoKitsch is a music studio in the heart of trendy Crouch End, London, which specialises in producing original performance music and albums, as well as musical scores, sound design, voiceover and foley for film, TV and theatre.
NeoKitsch has been active in composing music for filmmakers worldwide including productions in LA, Milan, Berlin, Zurich, Hamburg and London, collaborating with names such as UK Film Council, The League Of Gentlemen, Arts Council England, Sky One and MTV, with works presented at BAFTA screenings and film festivals. NeoKitsch has had its music performed live in prestigious festivals and concert halls such as the Royal Festival Hall, London, and has collaborated with the world's most famous musicians in new and experimental music, such as the Thereminist, Lydia Kavina.
The NeoKitsch musicians are all classical concert performers and orchestra leaders, bringing a high level of expertise and breadth to the recordings. The NeoKitsch composer, Danny Hahn, studied at the Guildhall School of Music with Professor Detlef Hahn, and also holds a BA in Film Studies. Danny has been active in screenplay writing since meeting and communicating with widely known story experts such as Robert McKee. As Danny is a teacher and lecturer of screenplay writing, NeoKitsch brings a unique approach to music production, as our composer combines the two skills of composition and story analysis to create a perfect communication between sound and image when scoring a film.

Hey neokitch -
Thank you so much for your submission for the score for Unravel Me.
It makes such a difference to hear the film with some music underneath it.
You and two other submissions have been shortlisted for use in the film, however I am reserving selection until I hear a second round of pitches.
With your piece, I love the combination of ambient/synth-style noise and a consistent theme throughout. Your use of silence is great, and the jazzy-type piece in the bar is exactly what I had in mind. What I'm after for the end, though, is doubt about whether he's going to end it all, then release/dreaminess/clarity as he cleanses himself, followed by sheer bliss, and the beauty of the serendipity of him meeting a beautiful woman, and their sharing a moment together.
If you are unclear, or wish not to submit a second pitch, no worries at all, just get in touch.
Many, many thanks again,
binnsy
Has a cool dark vibe. Like the guitar. Excellent.

Wow! It creates an intense atmosphere. I like the percussion rhythm track laying in the ground, - maybe it's getting too intense with the drums and cymbals. It doesn't give the sense of gentle love and friendship I'm looking for, but it's a moving piece and good work. Thanks for posting! :)
Hi there
Can't believe I just saw Ange Caesar's name up alongside yours on the humtoo blog..... say hi to her from me (my wife and Ange were at music college together and she sang at our wedding many years ago!!!). Small world isn't it?

Hey Danny,
Life underwater is great. It's a bit removed from what we had in mind initially but it's challenged our ideas about what we want for the short. It's on our shortlist.
Many Thanks,
Jay & Stu Ayeo

Thanks Danny. I wrote this while I was a student in NYC so it brings me back a lot of memories. Congrats on your drone page. Hope everything else is going well.
HI there Neokitsch!!
Just wondering how you managed to secure an invite to create a mix tape for humtoo? Did you approach them with an idea or just get an email? I have some ideas for "albums" of slightly "quirky" and experimental stuff - i wonder whether I should get in touch with the guys at humtoo about it.

Hello,
Nice sounds Neokitsch.
I live near Crouch End too, Stroud Green, you know it?
Cheers,
Rick.
sorry for the late reply. Really like this. can we just strip it down slightly? the idea is not to detract for what's happening on stage but to just have a little motif. great sound though. cheers

Hey Neo,
Its Ian. I met you at the PRS for music meeting. Just saw your introdcution of yourself on youtube and was amazed by your cosy studio, especially the theremin. So cool!!
Ian
Thanks for pitching your music for my project. I made a mistake and uploaded the same video twice for 2 projects - I've had to close this project, as it's the same video for project 1, so can you put this music on the other project? I'm about to upload somemore so I do hope you'll put your music up for those too!
Thanks.
Like it a lot. Very eerie!
Hey - I was just checking out your great collection of tracks and this one isn't working. I'm gonna have a look into it and get back to you.
Mike
